FFA competed in Regional 3 Leadership today. Carter Zahn, Carson Anderson, Hunter Hahn, Ally Moldenhauer, Paige Marsden, Marie Sand and Kennady Handeland all received Bronze. Anna Tiffany was awarded Gold. The overall team won Silver. Congratulations to all the members on their hard work and dedication to FFA.

Mrs. Heilman's Business Law class attended the court proceedings at the Bottineau County Courthouse today. Thank you to everyone at District Court for welcoming us and for answering our questions. We appreciate this learning experience!

Friday, December 20th, 7th and 8th grade students will have a Christmas party at the Bottineau Community Arena from 8:30-10:00 am. If your child chooses to rent skates, the rental fee is $3. Alternatively, if they have their own skates, they may bring them instead. There will also be concessions available for purchase if they should choose. Junior High students will also have an open lunch that day. They may leave the building from 11:45am-1:00pm. If they choose to leave, please help remind them that this is winter in North Dakota and if they will be walking, they need to dress appropriately. Dear Parents–
Our second concert of the year is just around the corner! Our 5-8 band and choir concert is Dec. 12th at 6:30 pm and 7:30 pm. The 5th and 6th graders will perform at 6:30. Please have your child arrive at the choir and band room by 6:15. The 7th and 8th graders will perform at 7:30 pm. They can arrive at the choir and band room by 7:15. We are asking all 5th and 6th graders to wear dress clothes to this concert. This includes dress pants, dress shirts, dresses, and skirts. If your child chooses to wear a skirt or a dress please make sure the hemline is below the knee. Shorter dresses and skirts do not work well while sitting on the stage. Dark black jeans are ok, but no blue jeans. The 7th and 8th grade girls are wearing all black dresses or black outfits. 7th and 8th grade boys can wear black pants with a dress shirt and tie. If you have trouble finding an outfit or have any questions please reach out to Mrs. Thorenson or Mrs. Marum.
The band and choir students did an awesome job of selling for our fundraiser!! The 5-12 students sold just under $20,000 worth of items!! We were so impressed! This also means that a lot of items will need to be delivered to customers. The items will be delivered to the school on Tuesday, December 10th. Please plan to come to the high school cafeteria between 3:10 and 5:45 on December 10th to pick up their items! Some of the items require refrigeration, so please plan accordingly for those items.
We look forward to seeing you all at the concert on December 12th! The students are preparing a wonderful concert for you!

A reminder that the Kindergarten through 4th grade Christmas concert is on Tuesday, December 10th.
Below you will find the start times.
K-1st 5:30
2-3 6:30
4th 7:30
Please have your child check in to their classrooms 15 minutes before their concert starts. There will be a short intermission between concerts to allow parents to get to their seats for the next concert. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact me at christopher.beckman@k12.nd.us
