Bottineau Public School will be allowing public access to our new facility with walking access to our track starting June, 19th 2023 please follow the points and guidelines we appreciate everyones cooperation with using the facility!!

On Tuesday, June 13th, the Bottineau School District will be holding their annual School Board election to elect 2 members to the Bottineau School Board and the question of whether to publish the record of proceedings of the school board in the newspaper. The polls will be open from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. at the Bottineau County Courthouse located on 314 5th ST W, Bottineau. Identification will be required at the polling place.

Bottineau hosted volleyball camp for 3rd - 12th grade. We had 78 girls participating. Thank you Pacesetters, Coach Dana and Coach Wess!

Congrats to our boys golf team on a great showing at the State tournament with a 3rd place finish and we also had two athletes finish in the top 10 individually in Max Palmer 5th and Colton Getzlaff 8th congrats to the team and coaches on a great season!!

Our Braves and Stars did great at the State Track and Field Meet in Bismarck! Our boys competed hard and a lot of them ran their best times of the season! PR=personal record 800m Run Bud Wilkie ran a 2:03.64 PR and placed 11th Will DeMontigny ran a 2:08.03 PR and placed 20th 1600m Run Will DeMontigny ran a 4:45.12 PR and placed 20th Noah Bedlion ran a 4:02.42 and placed 24th 300m Hurdles Niklas Halvorson ran a 45.58 and placed 16th Cody Gorentz ran a 45.75 and placed 19th 4x100 relay ran a 46.09 PR Josh Shriver, Jacob Shriver, Ryan Biberdorf, Tye Marum, they placed 24th 4x800 relay Noah Bedlion, Jonas Parisien, Will DeMontigny, Bud Wilkie, they placed 11th Our girls competed hard and some were able to get on the podium! 100m Dash Morgan Schweitzer ran a 12.83 and placed 9th 800m Run Erin Guariglia ran a 2:30.38 and placed 16th Maddy Kyle ran a 2:35.09 and placed 21st 1600m Run Tessa Guariglia ran a 5:41.83 PR and placed 16th Maddy Kyle Ran a 5:47.22 and placed 21st 3200m Run Maddy Kyle ran a 12:24.21 and got on the podium with a 8th place finish! 4x100 relay ran a 51.29 Logyn Simpson, Sophia Abdurrahman, Kylie Simpson, Morgan Schweitzer They got on the podium with a 6th place finish! 4x200 relay ran a 1:49.30 Logyn Simpson, Kylie Simpson, Hallie Nero, Morgan Scwheitzer placed 9th 4x400 relay ran a 4:14.63 Hallie Nero, Kylie Simpson, Erin Guariglia, Mor1gan Schweitzer They got on the podium with a 7th place finish! 4x800 relay ran a 10:23.13 Maddy Kyle, Erin Guariglia, Madeline Guariglia, Tessa Guariglia placed 10th Triple Jump Kylie Simpson jumped 35’10.5” and got on the podium with a 2nd place finish! Kyra Beckman jumped 32’10.5” and placed 18th Long Jump Karsyn Allard jumped 16’10” and got on the podium with a 7th place finish! High Jump Kyra Beckman jumped 5’00” and got on the podium with a 4th place finish!

State Track & Field Sendoff for our Braves and Stars athletes TOMORROW (Thursday, May 25). They will leave @ 8:00 a.m. through the South parking lot and head down Main Street. Help us send them off in style!

Congrats to Braves golfers Alex Lorenz (+7) and Max Palmer (+3) on their State Qualifying scores today! They stamped their tickets to the State Class B Golf Tourney in Wahpeton on June 6 & 7

You may be eligible to receive P-EBT benefits for your school-aged children this summer. Children who received free or reduced-price lunch through the National School Lunch Program and were attending school at the end of the 22-23 school year. If your children are not currently eligible but might be for the 2023-2024 school year, you are encouraged to complete the P-EBT application and submit a Free/Reduced-Price application by August 25, 2023. This year parents/guardians must complete an application to receive Summer P-EBT. The application can be completed online at https://ndsummerebt.nd.gov/ If you can't complete the application online, you can get a paper application by sending an email to snap-pebt@nd.gov.
